Supersets

Supersets can be auto-detected or manually created. Adjust settings on iPhone or Apple Watch.

Supersets involve alternating between two distinct exercises in succession.

Supserset Auto-detection

Train Fitness will automatically detect when a superset pattern occurs and prompt you to confirm if you want to create a superset.

If you prefer supersets to always be created without asking or to never be automatically detected, you can adjust the superset detection settings.

On your iPhone:

  1. Go to "Settings > Auto Detection Control."

  2. Under the "Advanced" section, tap "Supersets."

  3. Modify the settings as desired.

On your Apple Watch:

  1. Swipe to the left of the main display and tap "Settings."

  2. Scroll down and tap "Supersets."

  3. Modify the settings as desired.

Manually Creating Supersets

You can manually create Supersets when creating templates or during a live workout in the Mobile Workout Editor.

On your iPhone:

  1. When adding exercises to a template or in the live workout editor, tap "+".

  2. Select the exercises you want to include in the superset.

  3. Tap "Add Superset."

Managing Superset

You can break a superset and swap any exercise within the superset on both your iPhone and Apple Watch.

On your iPhone:

To break a superset, tap on the "..." in the the Superset group header and select "Break Superset.

To swap an exercise, tap on the "..." beside the exercise to be swapped and select "Swap Exercise."

On your Apple Watch:

To break a Superset,

  1. Tap on the "..." beside the exercise.

  2. Scroll down, and tap "Split."


To swap an exercise within a Superset,

  1. Tap on the "..." beside the exercise

  2. Pick any desired exercise from the list, or tap "See More" to search or filter for the desired exercises.
