Motra’s model continuously learns from your activity, improving in accuracy over time. Typically, after about five workouts, Motra has learned your movement patterns, resulting in up to a 20% increase in accuracy by the 5th session.
Learning Phase
During the initial learning phase (the first five workouts), Motra may experience minor errors in rep counting and exercise detection. These errors will decrease as the AI adapts to your movements.
To help improve auto-detection accuracy, you can:
Correct any rep count and exercise errors when they occur;
Work out consistently using Motra;
Other Factors
Auto-detection may occasionally fail due to various factors, including improper form, rapid movements, sensor calibration issues, or weak connectivity between your Apple Watch and the app. Ensuring your watch is worn correctly and that the app is updated can help improve accuracy.
Once Motra has adapted to your movement patterns, you should see a noticeable improvement in auto-detection performance. If you want to reset all learning patterns and restart the learning phase, you can clear the detection cache:
On your iPhone, in Motra App go to Settings > Auto Detection Control;
Tap Reset Detection Cache.
